Unit 23 Angle of View/Field Of View

Through the Wide Angle

The task was to shoot the widest angle, images that present a slightly distorted view from the normal.

Distortion
When shooting with a wide angle lens you have to take into account the wide field of view, the lens tends to distort the apparent physical relationships between objects. This results in notable distortion, most noticeable when you look at lines that should be relatively straight but are instead bent.

Below are other images taken with a wide angle lens. There are  noticeable distorted lines.

  1. Thanks Noreen, a god blog, and such dedication to nip over to the Vatican. This will fit the Photo Media unit perfectly.
